Day 2
On arrival in Johannesburg
make your way to Domestic Departures where you will connect with your flight to
Nelspruit. At Nelspruit Airport you will
be met by a to escape to representative
who will transfer you by road to Lukimbi Lodge.
Day 2 – 5
3 nights at Lukimbi Lodge
on a full board (includes all meals and game drives)
Set on the Lwakahle River in the renowned Kruger
National Park, Lukimbi Safari Lodge is known as the Jewel of the Kruger
National Park. You find yourself face-to-face with the abundant wildlife of the
bush and some of the most spectacular sunsets Mother Nature bestows. The lodge
has 16 suites with ensuite bathrooms and wonderful river views. Attractions
range from open game drives, bird watching and sipping cocktails in the
sparkling pool. Children of all ages are welcome at Lukimbi Safari Lodge and
are entertained by hostesses in their own private entertainment centre,
offering plenty of exciting programs and bush Olympics

Day 5
Check out and road transfer
to Skukuza where you will board your schedule chartered flight to the Rocktail
Bay Lodge. At the airstrip you will be
met and transferred to Rocktail Bay Lodge.
Day 5 - 12
Included: Accommodation on a
sharing basis, all meals, lodge activities (excludes scuba diving and turtle
drives – see below), scheduled transfers between the lodge and Coastal Cashews,
14% VAT, Satour tourism levy and Park fees.
Excluded: Drinks, turtle drives
(R175 per person non commissionable) and scuba diving related costs
Rocktail Bay Lodge is situated in the northern reaches
of the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park in an area of northern KwaZulu Natal that
is locally known as Maputaland. This whole region has been declared a
World Heritage Site. Situated offshore from Rocktail Bay is the Maputaland
Marine Reserve, which offers an additional sanctuary with extraordinary diving
and snorkelling with huge shoals of fish, dolphins and whales.
The lodge is situated
meters inland from the warm Indian Ocean and some of the most incredible
beaches in all of South Africa. Around the lodge there are some 30km of undisturbed
Indian Ocean coastline, which is rich in marine life. Here the waves meet
endless and diverse beaches where it is possible to walk for hours without
meeting another soul or seeing a building. Even Rocktail Bay is tucked away
just inland in amongst the forest canopy of vegetated dunes along Maputaland's
coastline.
Accommodation
is in "tree-house" chalets. Each room has its own balcony, an ensuite
bathroom with flush loos and hot and cold running water and an additional
outdoor shower in the forest. The main area of the lodge has an inviting
lounge, pub and pool. Wholesome home cooked meals are enjoyed either in the
main dining room, at the poolside or outdoors under a huge Natal mahogany tree.
Rocktail Bay Lodge is not a conventional deluxe "Bali" styled hotel
on the beach with telephones and TVs..... it is a comfortable lodge that is
ideal for people who want to truly relax and unwind on one of the best
coastlines anywhere in the world.
Activities nearby: fully
accredited dive-centre (you can often dive with dolphins, whale sharks and even
whales!), boat excursions, snorkelling, fly-fishing, swimming, horse riding,
drive to Black Rock, the nearby hippo pools and to the surrounding community in
open 4x4 Land Rovers, bird watching in the forest. During the summer months Rocktail Bay Lodge
is integrally involved in the loggerhead and leatherback turtle research that
has been going on since the 1960s. You can accompany the resident turtle expert
on research drives at low tide at night helping to monitor the turtle's nesting
numbers and the turtle's behaviour.

Transfer by road to
Richards Bay where you will catch your flight to Johannesburg. Connect with your international flight back
to London Heathrow.

Airline Surcharges -
Increasingly airlines are adding surcharges to their fares due
to additional fuel charges. In most cases we absorb these costs however in extreme
circumstances (surcharges of £30 or more) these charges will be passed on
